Sandstone can be found in both Terrestrial enviroments and Marine enviroments.
Some terrestrial enviroments might include:
>Rivers including levees, pointbars,and channel sands
>Glacial outwash
>Lakes
>Desserts for example: Arizon, North Eastern Arizona
Some Marine enviroments might include:
>Deltas
>Beach and Shorface sands for example:
>Tidal deltas, flats
>Offshore bars and sandwaves
>Storm deposits
>Turbidites
Some places that I found to have alot of production are; India and Europe
